How to Advocate for and Empower Clients in Obtaining Identity Documentation (Webinar)

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc, has scheduled a new virtual training, entitled  Identity Crises: How to Advocate for and Empower Clients in Obtaining Identity Documentation, scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM Eastern.

Join us as we discuss how identity documentation can be an essential tool in asserting the rights and personhood of our clients. We will spend our time reviewing how to navigate processes like obtaining changes to birth records, acknowledging paternity, applying for a new Social Security card, and getting a free drivers’ license, as well as discussing strategies for advocacy in trickier client situations and how to overcome bureaucratic obstacles.
