Introducing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy as An Option for Homeowners (Webinar)
Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc., Community Legal Services, and Neighborhood Legal Services are proud to announce a three-part training series on how to file a bankruptcy to save a homeowner’s home. This training is designed for all advocates interested in learning more about mortgage foreclosure and bankruptcy.
The training series is open to all PLAN program members and intended for attorneys and paralegals. It is recommended that advocates attend both the webinars and in-person trainings as they will be building off of each other, but more experienced advocates may wish to attend some but not all of the trainings.
One (1) substantive credit will be offered for each of the webinars and six (6) substantive CLE credits will be offered for the full day training at each location.
This is the first of the series with additional training being held on:
- Webinar: February 28, 2019, 1:00 PM-2:00 PM
- In-Person Training: March 15, 2019, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM (Harrisburg and Cranberry Township/Pittsburgh)
Jennifer Schultz of Community Legal Services will lead this one-hour webinar introducing chapter 13 bankruptcy as an option for homeowners who are behind in their mortgages. Jennifer will discuss when bankruptcy is right for a homeowner and when it is not. Jennifer will also provide an overview of what a homeowner can expect when he or she files for bankruptcy.
This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one (1.0) hour of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
PLEASE NOTE: if you are requesting CLE credit for your participation there will be TWO interactive polls that you will have to respond to during the webinar to prove your active participation.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
