Practising Law Institute Offers Free Webcasts on Poverty Law Topics

The Practising Law Institute is offering a series of webcasts of live events on topics of interest to poverty law advocates. These programs offer valuable instruction to both advocates from legal aid programs, as well as advocates offering pro bono service to low-income clients. Each of the programs offer Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit to attorneys attending the training.

Attendance at these webcast events is categorized as "distance learning" by the PA CLE Board. Under current rules, lawyers have the option of completing six (6) hours per compliance year of distance learning by participating in pre-approved, interactive, Internet or computer based CLE programs. For more information on distance learning CLE credit, please visit www.pacle.org/distance_learning/distance_learning.asp
