Workshop Proposals Sought for 2025 Innovations in Technology Conference

The Legal Services Corporation (LSC) is now accepting speaker and workshop proposals for the 2025 Innovations in Technology Conference (ITC25), taking place at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown, AZ, from January 13-15, 2025.

ITC25 will bring together technologists, legal aid advocates, court personnel, law school professors, pro bono coordinators, and other professionals interested in sharing and learning about technology projects that promote access to justice and high-quality legal representation for low-income people. 

LSC welcomes a broad range of proposals for workshops, technology demonstrations, short tech talks, and affinity group discussions.

Programming for ITC25 will include topics such as:

  • Cutting-edge technology, including the profound impact artificial intelligence will have on legal technology and its implications for self-represented litigants.
  • Innovative legal information websites and online tools that empower individuals to access crucial legal resources conveniently.
  • Technology that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of legal services delivery, including data analysis, streamlined intake/triage processes, and document assembly.
  • Technology that encourages and supports pro bono and volunteer engagement.
  • Using technology to improve internal operations in legal aid offices, including IT systems, cybersecurity, case management systems, and HR/administration.

The deadline for submitting ITC session proposals is June 21, 2024.
