Community Legal Services of Philadelphia is holding a webinar entitled SSI Appeals Process Is Changing In Pennsylvania – Get Ready for Reconsideration on April 16, 2019 beginning at 10:00 AM.

Starting April 20, 2019, Social Security disability applicants in Pennsylvania who are denied benefits will have to complete an additional appeal: Reconsideration.  It is a mandatory step and must be completed before the applicant can appeal a second time to request a hearing.

The webinar will discuss and describe this Reconsideration review as well as what support providers can give to clients going through this process. This webinar is geared towards case managers, constituent service staff, and anyone who assists people with Social Security disability claims.
