The Qualified Medicare Benefit (QMB) was created to give low income people with Medicare full access to Medicare providers without liability for premiums and co-pays. But the program fails to deliver the benefits it promises. QMB beneficiaries often are limited to Medicaid providers or face balance billing demands. In this webinar, NSCLC analyzed what is wrong with delivery of the QMB benefit and recommends changes to make QMB a more effective program.
