In addition to these recipients, Mark Schwartz, Esq. and Robert Racunas, Esq. will be honored with the Samuel W. Milkes Outstanding Leadership Award. This award of distinction is not given every year, but reserved for those who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in support of civil legal aid. It was renamed last year in honor of Sam's decades of outstanding leadership, and it is presented to these individuals for their dedication and efforts to making civil legal aid available for thousands of low-income Pennsylvanians throughout their remarkable careers.

We invite you to join us in celebrating this year’s recipients at our Excellence Awards Dinner, scheduled Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the Hilton Harrisburg. The evening will begin with a social reception from 5:00 PM-6:00 PM, followed by a banquet dinner and formal ceremony, during which each recipient will be presented with an award and a video highlighting their accomplishments. We are honored to have Representative Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-5), co-chair of the Congressional Access to Legal Aid Caucus, as our Keynote Speaker.
