New York Courts Vow Legal Aid in Housing

This story in the New York Times reports on new procedures outlined by New York Chief Justice Jonathan Lippman that would provide for legal counsel for all homeowners facing foreclosure. Under the new procedures, any homeowner in foreclosure who does not have a lawyer will be supplied one by legal aid groups or other pro bono groups.
