Legal Aid in Hard Times

This letter to the editor was published in the New York Times in response to their feature “Slashing Civil Legal Aid” (“Penny and Pound Foolish” series, editorial, March 9). The letter from Stephen N. Zack, president of the American Bar Association urges the Congressional leadership to protect the American people by protecting financing for the Legal Services Corporation.
