The American Bar Association is in the process of revising the ABA Standards for Programs Providing Civil Pro Bono Legal Services to Persons of Limited Means and will be holding a series of web discussions will inform how the Standards will be reformulated.

The Standards offer an outline of the minimum requirements for a pro bono program, but also outline the best practices of such a program. They are a useful tool, for programs, projects and funders, to evaluate programs and develop a roadmap for improvement.
