The 2013 Legal Services Corporation Technology Initiative Grants (TIG) Conference is being held in conjunction with the MIE National Conference for Legal Services Administrators on January 15-16, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel, Jacksonville, Florida.

There will be a joint TIG/Administrators track on January 16, 2013  or there's an option to register to attend both conferences.

Conference Hotel: Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel, 1201 Riverplace Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida. The TIG Conference room rate is $80 per night.

Conference Fee: $420, includes breakfast and lunch each day, plus an evening reception. The fee to register for both the TIG Conference and the MIE Administrators Conference is $630.

Who Should Attend: TIG recipients, IT staff, project managers, executive directors, legal services administrators, website coordinators, document assembly developers, attorneys, or anyone with an interest in how to use technology in the delivery of legal services.

What's Covered: Topics covered will include the effective use of data, the innovative use of case management systems, and how technology can enhance internal legal services operations, encourage pro bono and address Limited English Proficiency (LEP) and other special needs populations. Sessions will also cover effective management of TIG projects, including reporting and evaluation requirements.

Ignite Session: There will also be an 'Ignite' style session to provide some fast-paced presentations highlighting technology project successes, new ideas and lessons learned. You can submit an Ignite session proposal through November 30, 2012.

Pre-Conference HotDocs & A2J Training: There will be a LawHelp Interactive pre-conference training for users on HotDocs and A2J on January 14-15, 2013.
