Editorial in the New York Times discussing the class-action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of applicants for U.S. Census Bureau jobs who say they were unfairly turned down for census jobs based on an opaque screening policy that relies on F.B.I. checks for any criminal histories. Sharon Dietrich of Community Legal Services of Philadelphia is co-counsel for plaintiffs bringing the class action.
