Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) 101 (Webinar)

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is hosting a virtual training entitled Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) 101, on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Eastern.

This session will be a primer on the TANF cash assistance program in Pennsylvania for those who are interested in learning about financial assistance available to low-income families, but have little or no experience with welfare programs.

The program will also cover several features somewhat unique to the TANF program: (i) the child support cooperation requirement; (ii) work requirements; and (ii) the Family Violence Option (FVO).
