The Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project is hosting its first ever annual meeting on October 20, 2022. The topic of this year's event is Combating The Health Care Crisis Behind Bars.

The event will be held virtually on October 20, 2022 beginning at 6:00 PM Eastern. The meeting will be focused on the work of combating various health care crises - beyond the COVID-19 pandemnic - behind bars in Pennsylvania jails and prisons. 

Speakers at the event include:

• Salvatore Chimenti (pre-recorded), named plaintiff in PILP's landmark class action lawsuit related to Hep C treatment in PA Prisons.
• Alexandra Morgan-Kurtz, Managing Attorney, PILP
• Sara Bleiberg Bellos, PILP Staff Attorney, co-author of our MOUD Report

In addition to these speakers there will be a Q&A session, moderated by PILP Executive Director Su Ming Ye, where attendees can ask questions and learn more about the important work PILP is doing across Pennsylvania.
