Background:

This webinar is an update from the Alliance, PULP, and CLS’s webinar on October 27, 2020. PUC modified an emergency order in October, 2020, stopping terminations for all utilities (electric, natural gas, water, wastewater, telecommunications, and steam). As this order expires March 31, 2021, households will be facing utility shutoffs. Learn about how together we can assist our fellow Pennsylvanians from having their utilities terminated for nonpayment.

Speakers:

  • Brian Fuss, Housing Alliance of PA – Moderator
  • Elizabeth Marx, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Utility Law Project
  • Madilyn Keaton, PULP Energy Justice Coordinator, Pennsylvania Utility Law Project
  • Joline Price, Supervising Attorney, Energy Unit, Community Legal Services
