Utility Crisis Assistance: LIHEAP Recovery Program Webinars
The Department of Human Services has launched a Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Recovery Crisis Program, which will provide crisis utility assistance to low income households during the COVID-19 public health crisis. https://www.dhs.pa.gov/providers/Providers/Pages/LIHEAP-Recovery-Crisis-Program.aspx
The LIHEAP Recovery Crisis Program will offer a crisis benefit and a supplemental payment for households that previously received a crisis payment made directly to utility companies or fuel providers to help offset costs for home utilities.
Join the Pennsylvania Utility Law Project and representatives from the Department of Human Services’ LIHEAP Policy Office on May 22, 2020 for a brief online informational session to learn about the eligibility requirements and benefits available to low income households for this important program.
