Additionally, PHLP noted that Department of Public Welfare Secretary Gary Alexander has announced that Vincent Gordon will be the Deputy Secretary for the Office of Medical Assistance Programs (OMAP).

Mr. Gordon is employed by AmeriHealth Mercy in network development and has more than 20 years of experience in managing business relationships between Keystone Mercy Health Plan and the hospital physician network. He has served as a member of the school board in Upper Darby since 2005. DPW reports that earlier in his career, Mr. Gordon served in the US Marine Corps. He will begin his role as deputy secretary in September.
