Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is happy to announce that in place of the one and one-half day in-person PLAN DAP-SSI/SSDI training offered for advocates in past years, we are offering eight virtual online sessions throughout the month of February. Sessions will be every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon during February starting at 2:00 PM.  

Webinars will be either 90 or 120 minutes and cover a variety of topics relevant to advocates representing clients in SSI/SSDI Disability cases. Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits will be available for attorneys attending the webinars. 

In response to COVID-19, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania issued an Order permitting attorneys the ability to complete their 2021 compliance requirements with twelve (12) credits earned through accredited distance learning programming such as these webinars. Subsequently, the PA CLE Board adopted a temporary policy to recognize live online programming by accredited distance learning providers as live (non-capped) credit towards lawyers' CLE requirement.

ADVOCATES MUST REGISTER FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL SESSION TO BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.  Registrants will receive a confirmation email for each session containing information on how to login to the webinar.
