MIE's National Fundraising Conference - "Back to the Future"
The Management Information Exchange is hosting its 2010 National Fundraising Conference, Back to the Future, at the Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta, Ga., from July 28-30.
This Conference offers a full agenda of workshops focused on innovative and excellent fundraising and communication practices, plus you may sign up to be paired with a mentor for a 30-minute session to discuss your most critical fundraising issue.
The conference sessions will cover many topics including:
- Major Gifts and Donor Stewardship
- How to Make the Ask
- Endowment and Capital Campaigns
- Planned Giving
- Web-based Fundraising and Social Networking
- Developing a Fundraising Board of Directors
- Legal Community Campaigns – How to Start, How to Grow
- Legal Aid Fundraising 101 for the New Fundraiser
The opening plenary session, Motivate Me: How the Generations Respond to Marketing, will focus on how different generations respond to fund- and friend-raising efforts through traditional and social media. Jenny Schmitt, founder of CloudSpark, an award-winning strategic communications and social media company, will speak at the session.
Registration Cost:
- $395 for MIE subscribers; $100 off for program board or fundraising committee members; $20 off for second and subsequent registrants.
- $495 for non-subscribers.
Registration includes anniversary party, materials, continental breakfast and afternoon snack.
