LSNTAP Training: Website Accessibility for the Legal Aid Community
The Legal Services National Technology Assistance Project (LSNTAP) will be holding an online training entitled Website Accessibility for the Legal Aid Community on Friday, January 8, 2010 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST.
Web accessibility refers to the the practice of making websites usable for individuals with disabilities. In this session, Urban Insight's Abhijeet Chavan will focus on the basics of website accessibility and discuss practical steps attendees can take to ensure that all of their site users can access available tools and information.
The training will be held online using Legal Meetings. To participate you only need to have reliable access to the Internet and a Phone or VoIP headset to plug into your computer. You can participate from your own office. You do not need to be tech-savvy to participate.
