ABA Training on Depositions Offered for Free to Legal Aid Lawyers
The American Bar Association’s Center for Continuing Legal Education and Section of Litigation are sponsoring an online training session on the effective and efficient use of depositions on November 24, 2009 at 1:00 PM-2:00 PM Eastern.
Complimentary tuition will be provided to the first 250 legal aid lawyers who apply. No scholarship application is necessary.
Conducting a smart and case responsive deposition is critical in the evolution of nearly all civil litigations. We invite you to devote an hour of your career to examining old deposition habits or developing new, perhaps more compelling practices.
Program faculty member Ron Cohen, formerly Chair of the ABA Section of Litigation, will explain how to effectively prepare for a deposition and provide solutions to common problems that arise during depositions. Mr. Cohen has spoken about and taught these subjects in CLE presentations throughout the nation.
