2012 MIE National Fundraising Conference

The Management Information Exchange (MIE) is holding its 2012 National Fundraising Conference, The Importance and Power of Private Philanthropy, at the Hilton Back Bay Boston, 40 Dalton St., Boston, MA on July 12-13, 2012.

It is the one opportunity each year for legal aid fundraisers to come together to sharpen skills and share ideas. Some of the best fundraising consultants from the Boston area will speak in plenary sessions and workshops, together with seasoned legal aid fundraisers. There will also be plenty of time for networking, and you will have the opportunity to spend 30 Minutes with a Mentor.

Plenary speakers for the event are:

  • Simone P. Joyaux, a thoughtful, inspirational and provocative expert in fund development will speak on Seeking the Holy Grail of Fundraising...Donor Loyalty.
     
  • Tom Ahern, a leading authority on donor communications, will speak on Love Thy Reader: The Science and Secrets of Effective Donor Communications.
