VOCA Grantee Training: Overview of Crime Victims Compensation
Due to the continuing pandemic, the annual PLAN VOCA Grantee training will again be held virtually. Twelve webinars will be offered throughout the month of June. This will allow grantees to satisfy the 10 hours of mandatory training that PCCD requires of VOCA grantees in Pennsylvania. This presentation is a general overview of the Pennsylvania Victim’s Compensation Assistance Program, a Program designed to assist victims of crime with expenses directly related to the crime incident. The presentation includes details on program eligibility, requirements of the victim, benefits that can be considered, and the monetary amounts allowed by law per benefit type.

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one (1.0) hour of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
