Spring Training for Utility Law Advocates (Webinar)

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is offering a webinar entitled Spring Training for Utility Law Advocates on Friday, March 27, 2020 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Spring is almost here and will bring with it the end of the winter moratorium for utility terminations, as well as the end of LIHEAP season. This session will help prepare new advocates prepare for a possible influx of utility termination cases and other utility related issues during this time. We hope to help ensure that when you are up to bat on a utility issue, you are able to knock it out of the park!

Due to the ongoing developments related to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to slightly alter the format of our March 27, Utility Spring Training Webinar. We will begin the webinar by providing an update on how utilities and regulators are responding to the COIVD-19 Crisis, as well as talk about ongoing advocacy efforts. We will also discuss tools for advocates to support clients in accessing affordable bills and restoring previously terminated services.

Presenters:

  • John Sweet, PA Utility Law Project
  • Joline Price, Community Legal Services of Philadelphia
