Medicaid for Children: What Advocates Need to Know to Obtain & Keep Medicaid (Webinar)

PLAN is offering a new webinar entitled, Medicaid for Children: What Advocates Need to Know to Help Clients Obtain & Keep Medicaid Coverage & Services.  This webinar is scheduled for May 23, 2019 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Medicaid (also known as Medical Assistance) provides free, comprehensive health insurance for low-income children in Pennsylvania. 

Presented by Danna Casserly of the Pennsylvania Health Law Project (PHLP), this webinar is intended to provide non-public benefits attorneys and paralegals with a primer on Medicaid eligibility and services for children.  

The webinar will cover the eligibility rules and how to apply, an overview of Medicaid-covered services for children, and what to do if a client’s Medicaid application or service is denied. 

CLE Credit

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one (1.0) hour of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
