How to Navigate the FED: Functional Eligibility Determination (Webinar)

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is offering a webinar entitled, How to Navigate the FED: Functional Eligibility Determination on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 1:00 PM–2:00 PM.

The presenters will be Pamela Walz and Kate Vengraitis, both with Community Legal Services.

The Department of Human Services recently introduced a new tool to determine whether applicants meet the level of care criteria for Medicaid-funded long term services and support, the Functional Eligibility Determination (FED) tool. Come learn about how the FED works, hear about advocates’ experiences with it, and discuss strategies for successfully contesting functional eligibility denials.

CLE Credit

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one (1.0) hour of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
