Free Webinar: LIHEAP 2026-2027 Program Review - Nov. 5, 2026

Pennsylvania Utility Law Project, in partnership with Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, and the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, is presenting a free webinar entitled LIHEAP 2026-2027 Program Review on November 5, 2027 from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM Eastern.

LIHEAP provides assistance to help low income Pennsylvania families keep their heat on. As we ready ourselves for a cold winter and high heating prices, it is more critical than ever that eligible households apply for LIHEAP - and advocates like you can help them navigate the process. In this presentation, panelists will:

  • Give a high-level overview of LIHEAP
  • Explain what is changing in the 2026-2027 program year
  • Answer frequently asked questions
  • Share practical advocacy tips for helping households get the assistance they qualify for

Whether you are new to LIHEAP or want to build on what you already know, this session will help you support your clients and community in navigating LIHEAP and other energy assistance programs.

Registration is free, but required. All registrants, regardless of your ability to attend live, will receive the slides, recording, and other materials.

Lauren Berman, Senior Staff Attorney
