Advising and Defending Clients Struggling with Auto Loans, Repossessions, and Deficiency Collection Lawsuits (Webinar)

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. has scheduled a virtual training, entitled Advising and Defending Clients Struggling with Auto Loans, Repossessions, and Deficiency Collection Lawsuits on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Eastern.

Auto repossessions are on the rise, now higher than pre-pandemic levels according to a new report from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Rising car prices have led to larger loan amounts and higher monthly payments, putting financial stability at risk. When a borrower falls behind, the lender can repossess the vehicle without going to court. And if the repossessed vehicle sells for less than the outstanding loan, a borrower can face a collection lawsuit for the difference. Fortunately, borrowers have rights. Come learn from two national experts who literally wrote the book on auto repossession, Pennsylvania attorneys Andrew Milz and Cary Flitter. In this one-hour CLE, they will cover the basics of Pennsylvania auto repossession and strategies for defending clients facing collection lawsuits after the repossession sale.
