Regional Housing Legal Services is hosting a webinar entitled Renting a LIHTC Apartment: What Tenants and Their Advocates Need to Know on November 30, 2022 beginning at 10:30 AM Eastern. 

The Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program is unlike any other subsidized housing program. The rules are confusing to people accustomed to public housing or Housing Choice Vouchers. For example, while rents are below market, they are not based on the tenant’s income. This webinar will explain the ins and outs of finding, applying for, and living in a LIHTC unit.
