New Statewide Tool Available to Apply for Civil Legal Assistance in Pennsylvania
A new statewide, online tool is available that can be used to request civil legal assistance. Individuals can complete this online application to submit an application for legal assistance to the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network program serving their county. There is also an option in the tool to obtain legal information on the user's specific legal issue.
North Penn Legal Services has partnered with the rest of the programs in the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network and PLAN, Inc. to create the online tool that is available at https://palegalaid.net/find-legal-help/apply.
The tool is also available from a link on PALawHelp.org. PALawHelp.org users clicking the link, that is located on the site homepage, are directed to the tool to submit their application for legal assistance.
Funding for the tool was provided, in part, from the Legal Services Corporation through a Technology Initiative Grant that North Penn Legal Services obtained to improve the accessibility of legal aid from the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network to clients throughout Pennsylvania.
