Dickinson Law Review Symposium: The Impact of Women of Color in the Judiciary - March 24, 2023

Penn State Dickinson Law logoThe Dickinson Law Review will present The Impact of Women of Color in the Judiciary beginning at 8:30 AM on Friday, March 24, 2023 in the Apfelbaum Family Courtroom and Auditorium, Lewis Katz Hall, Dickinson Law. Members of the judiciary and academia will discuss how women of color have shaped the judiciary, and the role of women of color on the bench moving forward.

The symposium is being co-sponsored by the Steele Family Leadership Program in Gender and Racial Equity and the Macon Bolling Allen Civil Rights and Transitional Justice Program at Penn State Dickinson Law.

Each year, the Dickinson Law Review symposium brings together stakeholders in the legal community — including practitioners, academics, jurists, and law students — for scholarly dialogue about forthcoming or recently published articles.

The Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board has approved this program for 4.5 hours of substantive law, practice, and procedure credit and 0.0 hours of ethics, substance abuse, and professionalism credit. CLE credit can be earned by attending in person or by webinar. Pre-registration is required. Attendees must register by end of day Monday, March 20.
