Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) 101 (Webinar)

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is hosting a virtual CLE program entitled Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) 101 on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM Eastern.

This session will be a primer on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP, formerly Food Stamps) in Pennsylvania for advocates with little or no experience with it.  

The session will include a description of who is eligible for SNAP, how the amount of SNAP benefits is calculated, and how to both get and keep SNAP. We'll cover rules for special populations, including students and people who are homeless, and what to do if your SNAP is cut off or reduced.

CLE Credit

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.5 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
