Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is hosting the next in our monthly SSI/SSDI Skill Building series webinar, entitled Special Needs Trusts and ABLE Accounts,  on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Eastern.

Individuals with disabilities are eligible for and often rely on essential government benefits to provide for their medical and basic living needs throughout their lives.  These government benefits often come with low income and resource limits that prohibit individuals from receiving or saving even a small amount of money.  

Join this session to learn the types of Special Needs Trusts available and how they can be used as part of an estate plan; how they are established and administered; and how funds placed in a trust can be used.  This session will also provide an overview of the PA ABLE Program.

"This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.5 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
