Social Security Disability Law – EAJA and Third Circuit Practice (Webinar)
The PLAN DAP Planning Committee is presenting a virtual training entitled Social Security Disability Law – EAJA and Third Circuit Practice on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM Eastern.
Professor Jon Dubin, a tenured professor at Rutgers Law School, will give a follow up overview regarding how to and why to file Equal Access to Justice Act (EAJA) Fee Petition and Federal Court practice.
Professor Dubin teaches courses in Social Security law; Poverty, Race and Economic Justice; and Administrative Law. He also and teaches and directs the Economic Justice and Public Benefits Clinic, where his students represent Social Security claimants at all levels.
He has authored co-authored numerous books on Social Security Law, Policy or Practice including but not limited to:
- Social Security Disability Law and Procedure in Federal Court (Co-authored with Carolyn A. Kubitschek, Thompson Reuters Pub. Co., 2024- 2011; 14 separate annual treatise editions
- 2024 Supplement/Update for Social Security Law, Policy & Practice: Cases and Materials (co-authored w/ Frank S. Bloch, American Casebook Series, West Academic Pub. Co.) (2024)
