Join us to learn about exciting new developments in occupational licensing reform and record clearing.
On the occupational licensing reform front, powerful new regulations have been published that make it easier for people with criminal records to become licensed as nurses, barbers, cosmetologists and more. Learn about the new regulations and how they affect the criminal record review process created by Act 53 of 2020.
On the record clearing front, learn about the recent technical change that makes record sealing on FBI reports possible. We will discuss the change and what it means for your clients. We will also discuss the timeline for automated sealing of misdemeanors and felonies under Clean Slate 3.0 (Act 36 of 2023).
