PLAN DAP-SSI/SSDI Skill Building Training: Developments at SSA and Their Impact on Immigrants

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is hosting a free virtual program entitled PLAN DAP-SSI/SSDI Skill Building Training: Developments at SSA and Their Impact on Immigrants on February 26, 2026 from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM Eastern.

This session will examine key developments at the Social Security Administration (SSA) over the past year and their implications for immigrant applicants and beneficiaries. 

Chi-Ser Tran and Mark Maher of Community Legal Services will provide an overview of recent policy changes, including data sharing practices, and discuss how these shifts affect eligibility, access to benefits, and client counseling strategies. They will also facilitate a discussion on what advocates are seeing on the ground in our communities.

CLE Credit

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.0 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.

To be eligible for CLE credit, attorneys must attend the entire webinar and actively participate in the session. Interactive polls will be launched at intervals throughout the webinar, and attorneys must respond to each poll question to verify participation. We are unable to process CLE credit if all poll questions are not answered.
