Immigrant Eligibility for Public Benefits (Webinar)
Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is hosting a webinar, entitled Immigrant Eligibility for Public Benefits, on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern.
This session will provide an overview of common immigration statuses and the public benefits our immigrant clients may be able to receive. We will review the immigration documents our clients may have and the immigration status eligibility criteria for major public benefits programs including SNAP, Medical Assistance, TANF and SSI. We will also provide updates on sponsor deeming and public charge rules.
This training is for all advocates.
CLE Credit
This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.5 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
