Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is hosting a virtual training program entitled  Child Custody for Immigrant Families on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Eastern.

This program will address the large looming question of how immigrant families can be prepared when at risk for possible detention or deportation.

Topics to be discussed include:

• brief update on immigration activity and executive orders;
• what services are you permitted to provide as an LSC organization;
• court and non-court options for immigrant families and those parents and caregivers who are at risk of being detained or deported including: 
  • ways to be prepared for both options;
  • pros and cons of non-court and court options;
  • links to forms and resources

CLE Credit

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 1.5 hours of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
