The 2019 Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network Conference will be held on September 19-20, 2019 at the Hilton Harrisburg, with a pre-conference day of programs on September 18, 2019. The conference will feature many helpful workshops for legal services staff, board members and other friends of the legal services community.

CLE credits are available for attorneys who attend qualifying sessions.  The number of CLE credits being offered is still being calculated and will be added to the registration shortly. 

2019 PLAN Conference at a Glance

Registration:

Conference Registration is free for staff and board members of Pennsylvania’s network of legal aid programs. If you are a staff member or board member of one of our legal aid programs and you need hotel reservations, please indicate that on the registration form. We will add your name to the rooming list. Room, tax and self-parking will be direct billed to PLAN and our fiscal department will reconcile later with your program. 

Registration for staff of Non-PLAN public interest, government or other nonprofit organization is $275.00. The cost for all other registrants is $450.00. 

Registration includes meals and conference materials.

Pre-Conference Programs:

This year on the pre-conference day, Wednesday, September 18, 2019, PLAN, Inc. is sponsoring a one-day Compliance Refresher for PLAN Programs at the conference site, the Hilton Harrisburg. The agenda for the Compliance Refresher program is still being developed.

A Pre-Conference Trial Advocay Skills Training geared toward new advocates will also be held on September 18, 2019. Separate registration is required for this training. CLICK HERE for more information on Trial Advocay Skills Training.

Hotel Accommodations 

The cost for a hotel room is $145 per night plus tax, for a single or double occupancy plus a $10 self parking fee. To receive hotel reservations at the discounted conference rate PLAN member program staff must check the box(s) on the registration indicating the nights you will need an overnight room.  If you need a room PLAN non-member staff persons should indicate their overnight needs on the registration form and PLAN will make the hotel reservation but you will need to provide payment for the room on your own. Cancellation Policy

There will be a fee of $50 charged for all cancellations received after September 20, regardless of whether it is a “legal aid network registration” or a “non-legal aid registration. 

Your program will be charged for the first night if reservations are not canceled within 24 hours prior to arrival or if you requested a reservation and are a no show.
