DEIB Leadership Structure

The work of diversity equity inclusion, and belonging for PLAN Inc. Is managed by the Director of DEIB & HR Operations with the support of the DEIB staff. However, collaboration and shared governance of the work across the network is key to ensure that the organization, including the Board is remaining up to date with national DEIB trends. Remaining current with DEIB trends and considerations has a large impact on the workforce and supporting current or potential clients. The following DEIB leadership groups ensure that PLAN is consistent with it’s diversity work:

  1. DEIB Advisory Committee – The DEIB advisory committee is the organization’s primary diversity leadership group. There is representation from all levels across the network (Board members, program directors, PLAN staff, etc.). This group’s goal is to focus on large scale items across the network and develop strategies to resolve inequities. The group looks at data, national trends, and other DEIB related topics and encourages implementation within the various programs.

  2. Change Ambassadors – This group is composed of employees throughout the network who have a passion for diversity and inclusion in a general sense and want to develop network-wide initiatives. The group is divided into (3) subcommittees that focus on multiple areas through the lens of DEIB.
    • Social Committee
    • Community Engagement Committee
    • Fundraising Committee
