Medicaid-Funded Supports for Low-Income Children with Behavioral Challenges (Webinar)

Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. is offering a webinar entitled, Medicaid-Funded Supports for Low-Income Children with Behavioral Challenges on June 6, 2019 from 1:00 pm– 2:00 pm.

A child’s behavioral challenges can affect custody, housing, education, the parent’s ability to get and keep a job, as well as the safety of the child and other family members plus juvenile justice involvement. 

In this webinar presented by David Gates of the Pennsylvania Health Law Project (PHLP), you will hear about Medicaid-funded behavioral health services for children and youth, including what services are available and how to obtain them.

The webinar will cover “Wraparound” services, Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) services, Family-based services, CRR host homes, and Residential Treatment Facilities.  We will also discuss the role of the Behavioral Health Managed Care Organizations, the counties, and the State Office of Mental Health.

CLE Credit

This program has been approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for one (1.0) hour of substantive law, practice and procedure CLE credit.
